  7. Can I sign up for the Celcom MEGA™ Supplementary Plan promotion with a device or any other offering with a contract?
    • No, this promotion is applicable for standalone Celcom MEGA™ Supplementary base plan only without any active contract.
  8. I am an existing prepaid customer. Am I eligible for this program?
    • Yes, Customers can subscribe to Merdeka Campaign offer. However, you must migrate to an eligible postpaid plan and add Celcom MEGA™ Lightning/Unlimited Supplementary line.
  9. If I’m porting from another network operator. Am I eligible for this program
    • Yes, Customers can subscribe to Merdeka Campaign offer after they successfully port to Celcom.
  10. How much is the upfront payment for the Device Bundle Program?
    • Upfront Payment for the Device Bundle Program is subject to the device and plan selected.
  11. What are the conditions that will trigger penalty?
    • Penalty will be imposed based on the device model and your chosen Rate Plan. The amount will be charged in the event of:
      • Termination of line (Principal or Supplementary Line(s))
      • Change Rate Plan (Supplementary Line(s))
      • Downgrade Pass (Principal Line)
      • Exit Contract (Principal or Supplementary Line(s))
      • Port Out (Principal or Supplementary Line(s))

This Campaign shall be read together with the general terms and conditions relevant to the Customers in respect of this Campaign (“The Campaign”) as published at https://www.celcom.com.my/legal/terms-and-conditions. The Customers hereby agree and acknowledge that Celcom reserves the rights to process the Customer’s personal data (as defined in the Personal Data Protection Act 2010) in accordance with Celcom’s Privacy Notice made available on Celcom’s website and as amended from time to time.

The subscription to the MEGA Lightning/Unlimited Plan or with Supplementary Lightning/Unlimited with Device Bundle Program (“Device Plans”) offered by Celcom shall be subject to and shall be read together with https://www.celcom.com.my/legal/terms-and-conditions/personal#personal-devices-mega-device-bundle orhttps://www.celcom.com.my/legal/terms-and-conditions/ respectively.

 

1) Duration of Promotion 

This Program is made available from 22th August 2022 until 30th September 2022 (“Campaign Period”). Any extension or discontinuation thereof shall be at the sole discretion of Celcom.

 

2) Eligibility

  1. This Program shall be applicable to All Enterprise customer (CI & CO).
  2. For clarity purposes, this Program is applicable to Customers in the following categories:
    • a. Mobile Number Portability (MNP)
    • b. Change of Rate Plan (CORP)
    • c. Prepaid to Postpaid (P2P)
    • d. New Celcom Postpaid Customers
      Celcom reserves the right to reject customer’s registration for the Program if they fails to meet the criteria.
  3. This Program is not applicable for Celcom customers with an active contract or any other device program(s) by Celcom.
  4. This Campaign is available for subscription and/or purchase for Celcom MEGA™ base plan through Respective Account Manager / Channel Manager.

 

3) Campaign Mechanics

  1. To participate in this Campaign, Customers are required to activate minimum One (1) Supplementary line (in a single order) (New, MNP & P2P).
  2. By signing up to this Campaign, Customers are bound to a 24-month contract and subject to the Terms and Conditions for the Device Bundle Program.
  3. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the device selection shall be subject to availability of stock and on a first come, first served basis.

 

4) Buy 1 Free 1:

  1. Customers are required to subscribe to any of the MEGA Lightning/Unlimited Plans 98/128/158 or 188 with Supplementary Lightning/Unlimited as listed at Table 1 below to be eligible for two (2) Free Devices/Special discounted price.
  2. Customers are allowed to choose any of the Samsung or Vivo device (Device 1 as listed below) with Celcom MEGA Lightning/Unlimited and get a 2nd Device (Device 2 as listed below) by just adding a supplementary line to the principal line: -

5) General Terms and Conditions:

  1. This Program comes with a twenty-four-month (24-month) binding contract (“Contract”) applicable for MEGA™ Lightning/Unlimited 98, MEGA™ Lightning/Unlimited 128, MEGA™ Lightning/Unlimited 158 or MEGA™ Lightning 188 (“Principal Line”) and need to be registered with MEGA™ Lightning/Unlimited Supplementary Line.

  2. To sign up for this Program, Customers are required to make payments as below:

    • a. Discounted Device Price
    • b. Device Upfront Payment

      Calculation for Combined Device Upfront Payment is as per below:  
      Combined Device Upfront Payment = Principal Device Upfront + Supplementary Device Upfront 

      * Upfront Payment to follow Enterprise BAU.
       

  3. Upfront payment is mandatory and regardless of the contract duration, it will be based on the Device Plan chosen by the Customers. The upfront payment will be rebated into the Customer’s monthly postpaid bills until all remaining balance has been deducted. 

  4. Contract penalty applies if the Principal Line or Supplementary line(s) fall under the conditions specified below:

    • a. Terminated line
    • b. Change Rate Plan (supplementary line)
    • c. Downgrade Passes (within same Group; Lightning/Unlimited Pass)
    • d. Port out to other service provider
    • e. Exit contract
  5. Penalty will be charged to the Principal Line at a reducing balance. The shorter balance period of the contract, the lesser the amount of penalty to be charged. 

  6. The Device under this Terms and Conditions is supplied by a third party. Celcom shall not be liable and disclaim any liability against Celcom for the merchantability of the Device offered to the Customers.

  7. For any warranty claims or defects relating to the Device, the Customer is advised to liaise with the respective authorized service centers as listed below:.

  8. Celcom shall not be liable and disclaim any liability whatsoever of any claims against Celcom for any act of theft, stolen, or attributed by omissions and negligent.

  9. The general terms and conditions for the devices and respective Device Bundle Program shall apply.

  10. Celcom shall not be liable for any claim by the Customers or third-party claims or losses of any nature, including but not limited to, loss of profits, punitive, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or for other damages and any related claims of any nature, including direct, indirect, third party, consequential, or other damages resulting from or in connection with this Device Bundle.

  11. All photographs, personal information, and names submitted, service marks, trade names, and trademarks are the property of Celcom.

  12. In the event any of the provisions in these terms and conditions is invalid, illegal and unenforceable under any applicable law, or by any reasons whatsoever, the legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

  13. No delay or indulgence by Celcom in enforcing any terms or conditions herein shall constitute a waiver by Celcom of the Customer’s breach of these terms and conditions.
